My Soul Timeless onwards

Soul

"Daddy did you know,?"
she shares a secret
seldom does
this beautiful soul
your eyes can change colour
if you meditate
long enough
yes baby I know
I also know
you could live
of air only
really?
well read it
in your Bible
 "It is written:
'Man shall not live on bread alone,
but on every word that comes
 from the mouth of God.'"
really
or is this
just another
religious fairy tale?
I sit in my office
savouring soft rain
gently falling
on the tin roof
I sigh
at last
food for my soul
not the rain
the knowledge
that I too
am loved
it was parched
lifeless
it seemed.
my soul
was lonely
missing human warmth
missing a body
vibrating
in unison
with mine
just one drop
of nectar
from above
I longed for
my body
overfed
groaned.complained
no more please
it shouted
you are
killing me
my soul
starved
of love
starched
the golden cord
to it's
limit
it wanted
 to separate
give up
on it's
earthly shell
it needed
sustenance
then this
little creature
opened my eyes
yes darling
you can
there is nothing
you cannot
you can
my baby girl
that drop
of wisdom
fed the
parched soil
of my soul
one drop
spreading
infinitely
because
it knows
no limit
my soul
slowly
started
moving closer
to this wretched
human
body
K
your golden
hair
flowing
is also
not
a dream
you own it
it is yours
do not stop
believing
being
beautiful
yes
my child
Daddy knows
Peace and love
be with you forever
my male and female companions
forever
amen
doulos
Dankie my kind

Joy
Oupa sit there
she is learning fast
and growing faster
her brain
a super computer
just s bundle
of pure
undiluted joy
she lifts my spirit
her laugh
contagious
oupa bubbles
she points
and I obey
oupa birdies
I play
like a child
do not know
who is amusing who
she is
energising
everything
around her
with
unlimited
energy
so small
so fragile
yet
she commands
she focusses
she reflects
all
that is
good
all that is pure
it is
contagious
this
joyful
abundance
this
little
human
my
grandchild
I am
grateful
for this
precious gift
I love you
Abiboo
I do
peace and love be with you
my brothers and sisters
forever
amen
doulos

hair
I want to
write the cold
outa my bones
the light
into my soul
but I am
struggling
how does God
see us?
it is depressing
when human life
seams so cheap
when genocide
and natural disaster
decimate us
like flies
so easily
does he/she/it
even sees us?
being spiritual
us physical
does He
care
about our
bodily functions,
our decomposition,
our cares ?
are we
more better than
animals, birds,
insects
and
plants?
all created
by Him?
sometimes
nature
seems
so vast
so incredibly
beautiful
and yet
so furious
 and destructive
I am but dust?
we have
on average
100 000
hairs
on our scalps
and many
more
covering
every inch
of our skins
we only appear
to be
naked apes
yet
I read
in The Book
that every hair
on my head
is numbered
and I also
read that
not one
hair shall fall
without
the creator's
knowledge
so
it makes sense
that our
spiritual part
is
actually part
of
the
creator
else
us puny
humans
will be
unnoticeable
I am
noticed
I am loved
I do
matter
and so
do YOU
peace and love be with you
my fellow hair carriers
forever
amen
doulos

Write
Why do I write?
long, long ago
in the beginning
was the word
that is all
word's
are powerful
and besides
I once
called myself
a journalist
but writing
is in
my blood
it flows
freely
in a way
I cannot
help it
it is
addictive
see words
form
patterns
like
arrows
in my
writing
it is
meant to
penetrate
at school
I was
a reader
not
a leader
a loner
a
dreamer
and all
the time
the words
were there
it fed
me
when
I am
depressed
I write
myself
out of
it
I share
it freely
unashamed
whether deemed
good
or
bad
If you
write
you are
naked
and
bare
your soul
I would
be
satisfied
if one word
forms a
seed
that
sprouts
Peace and love be with you
my wordy companions
of all sexes alike
forever
amen
doulos
