set SUN rise

Sunset on my first day at Lifuwu Village.

I was so busy
I did not look up taking photographs
Early morning in Leopard Bay
Staying in the village by choice
Because I wanted to
Experience Malawi like locals
I flew in because of health reasons
And because of time restraints
Experience Malawi I did
Then I looked up and I saw the sun
Bursting over the horizon
And I was amazed by its beauty
My heart filled with joy
By the splendour of creation
Arriving in Lilongwe late
Due to delays in Johannesburg
And being frustrated by the
Heat and snail pace through customs
And then driving the winding road
Through beautiful countryside
In my hired car brought
Me to Salima, home to my
Future business partner and now friend
And then departing just before dusk
Dragging him along, fearing I
Would get lost on my own
I arrived in Lifuwu Village
There was a small fire in the veld
I was busy and bothered
After a day of profuse perspiration
And endless delays
I was busy and did not look p
And when I did Wow a beautiful sunset
I stopped next to the chalet
That would be my home
I moved to the main building
And she came out
Her face reflecting the setting light
And she hugged me smiling
And I felt that I was hugging
An old friend
And I felt happy and I felt relieved
I was welcome in Malawi.

I got up early to take this Image of sunrise over Leopard Bay,Malawi
